Building strong brands& visual systems

Art & Brand Director with 7 years building brand identities and visual systems that scale.

I lead creative across identity, campaigns, motion and digital. Where I get most hands-on is bringing the brand to life. I build the systems that let teams move fast without sacrificing quality, and I care deeply about craft at every level of execution.

Autonomousworkflows

I operate best when I can take full ownership over a project, from first concept to final delivery. Every decision carries a defensible rationale, one I can explain and stand behind in the moment. That autonomy has pushed me to build workflows and tools that cut down production time without cutting corners, so speed and quality aren’t a trade-off.

AgencyExperience

Having the opportunity to touch so many industries and business types, I’ve built experience on global brands including Hearst Media, Yahoo, Marriott, and many more. It’s less about having a signature look and more about having a process that adapts to whatever the work demands. That range has trained me to read context fast and design what’s right for the brand.

BrandStrategy

As a leading company in the fashion trade show circuit, Informa Markets Fashion was forced to test its value proposition in a new post-COVID landscape. Helped reposition the brand for both a short-term evolution and a long-term future, repackaging the trade show parent brand with a new name, identity, and strategy for the execution of its main events.

Brand strategy — who we are, pillars, mission

Campaign

To introduce the world to the new Andaz brand identity, conceptualizing and creating its 2023 communication campaign. With an overarching message of “Be Like No One’s Watching,” this campaign depicts guests transforming from their daytime selves to their most authentic alter egos at Andaz properties, all inspired by the brand, the destination, and travel itself. The campaign consisted of digital ads, wild postings, and video executions for web and social media, and was featured in Vogue’s September issue.

Video

To bring Be Like No One’s Watching to life, this campaign shot and produced 30- and 15-second videos, in which Andaz guests transform from their daytime selves to their authentic alter egos as they explore the hotel. The scenes demonstrate the power of travel to inspire complete self-expression and how Andaz properties create the most dynamic and supportive environments for guests who want to discover who they are and who they can become.

Identity

Andaz was founded on the tenets of personal style and self-expression, recognizing that who you are and who you can become is limited only by your imagination. Creating the full brand evolution for Andaz, building upon its roots and highlighting the uniqueness of its experiences, locations, and guests, while giving it a clearer, more distinct voice. After a complete deep dive into the brand’s history, building the brand’s story, positioning, mission, and DNA around the idea of self-expression for the brand, the destinations, and the guests. Then translated this ownable verbal identity into a creative, imaginative visual identity and experience.

Identity

After developing Yahoo For Creators, a platform where creators can publish, monetize, connect, and grow their businesses, Yahoo needed help with creating the brand’s visual ID. This meant developing a system that was approachable, yet elevated, notably including the creation of the brand Y4C icon, which proved to be a highly versatile asset for both B2B and B2C designs.
